Hello and welcome to the K. Holly Photography Blog! I'm so glad you're here! ((hugs!)) I'm Kristen Holly Carlson, a Wedding & Lifestyle Photographer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. { Megan and Mark :: Married! }

Megan and Mark were married on the incredibly beautiful summer afternoon of July 17, 2010. The day was a perfect match for these two and their families and friends – warm, sunny, bright, and full of life and love. Their entire day was nonstop smiles, laughter, and hugs. Just looking back on these pictures makes me all happy inside. I keep catching myself smiling and laughing, just remembering these little moments and details. It was an amazing day. :)

We all met at Thousand Oaks Country Club in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where the reception would be held later in the evening. Megan was looking ga-orgeous!! I knew she would, but wow! And her details, perfect!

It would be an understatement if I said I loved the bridesmaids dresses. And flowers. And everything. The colors were SO rich and beautiful, but with the light fabric and shorter hem, they looked totally cute and summery. Well done on the color scheme, Megan!!! Purple, magenta, and green… L.O.V.E.!

Their ceremony was held at the beautiful Ivanrest Christian Reformed Church in Grandville.

Kristin and Dan are married!! They had a beautiful day in Kalamazoo – sunny, warm and breezy. Perfect. And full of love, family and faith. I was so glad to be one of the many who shared it with them. Congratulations again!!

July 16th, 2010. It was a perfectly sunny day in Grand Rapids, and Jane and Nick were getting married!! Everyone met up at the beautiful Trinity Lutheran Church to get ready, and they were all lookin’ fabulous! I loved Jane’s simple pink rose bouquet, something-blue shoes, glamorous cream wedding gown and cage veil. Add Nick’s white coat and Chuck Taylors, and you’ve got some serious style! I was totally loving their 1940′s vibe!

We grabbed the bridal party and headed out to one of my favorite little spots downtown – we were feelin’ the purple! :)

Love it, love it guys!!!!

Then off to Eve at The BOB! Such a gorgeous venue, the clean modern vibe is nothing short of fabulous!

The DJs of CD Sound Systems are super fun, and get your guests moving! They even lead dances, and totally rock out :)
