Hello and welcome to the k.holly blog! I'm so glad you're here! ((hugs!)) I'm Kristen Holly Carlson, a wedding & lifestyle photographer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Jamie and I are a husband & wife team, and are totally in love with what we do! This is our photo blog, always updated with our most recent weddings and sessions, along with a few personal stories and a behind the scenes look at what we do.
We are currently booking 2013 weddings and the last couple available dates for 2012 (Nov-Dec). For lifestyle sessions, available dates begin August 2012. Newborns can potentially be booked anytime, I'm always happy to sneak them in if I can!
So get comfy and have a look around! You'll get to know us, our amazing clients, and our photography style a little better. And hopefully, it'll inspire you to look at life and this incredible world around us a little differently too :)

Kerri - Great photos! Enjoy your stay.
Danielle Storey - Awesome – sounds like you’re having a great time!
Christina - Wow! I feel like I’ve been there after looking at your pictures :-)
Heather - pretty flowers! hope you are having a great time!
Spark Creative Photography - I love the flower shots! What type of camera/lense are you shooting with?
Kristen - Thanks for all the comments! Isn’t Duluth beautiful? There’s more to come! ;)
All of these pics were taken with my backup/travel camera: Canon Rebel XTI. he flower shots were taken with my favorite lens – Tamron 28-75 f/2.8. The rest were with either my Canon 18-55 or Canon 75-300.
Anonymous - Sooooo good to see you, Kristen!
Anonymous - That was from Anna, BTW :)
Keri - Hey, I wanted to let you know that your Deluth photos are what inspired me to take some pictures of my own home town, hence my blog post yesterday.
I was originally going to give you credit for the inspiration and link your blog, but when I came back here to grab your link, I realized how beautiful and professional your photos really looked, and I thought they’d make my pictures look pretty cruddy in comparison. ;-)
