Jessica + Joe {Married!}

Jessica and Joe planned an immaculate wedding in Heathsville, Virginia along the Chesapeake Bay. It was to be an outdoor wedding in the gardens of a private mansion, Mantua, where no one had ever been married before, and no photographers had been. It was an incredible honor for all of us in attendance. Unfortunately, the rain and cold put a bit of a damper on some of our plans, which I can’t help but wonder if it was a little to do with the magic of the grounds themselves… Regardless of the weather, Jessica and Joe had a beautiful wedding – they called in tents the morning of the wedding, and we took most of our pictures under trees and at the reception. But you know what they say – rain on your wedding day means good luck in marriage. Not that these two need any luck, they are a wonderful couple with amazing support from their families. They welcomed me as if I were part of the family myself. They brought me to and from the airport, I attended their rehearsal dinner the night before at their family’s lake home, and was even invited over to go kayaking that morning. I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality and kindness, they were absolutely wonderful! And I just know with the support and love from their families, Jessica and Joe will have a long, happy marriage and life.

One last shot on the way out of the ballroom. Everyone danced until the very last song, it was a great reception! Couples in love, kids having fun, and friends getting together. It really was perfect, after all. Congratulations again, Jessica and Joe! I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon :)k
