Lauren and Josh are getting married this spring, and I couldn’t be more excited! They are such a great couple – totally upbeat, friendly and fun! I met them down in Battle Creek for their engagement session on a very cold day! I was lucky and was able to wear my winter coat, hat and gloves with the fingers cut out so I could work my camera. These two braved the frigid temps! We had a few spectators who commented, I think they thought we were nutty. Worth it for great shots though! (Right, guys? ;)

I didn’t realize how beautiful Battle Creek was! I’ve only been there once, but not downtown. The river is so pretty! The overcast sky was so perfect for their portraits and made these images oh-so-dreamy:
