Little Ethan is a year old! His mom Regina, a fellow photographer, requested a session with this little cutie, and I was more than happy to oblige! I had seen tons of pictures of him over the past year on her personal blog, and couldn’t wait to capture his gorgeous eyes! We went downtown East Grand Rapids and poked into a few cute little shops and just let our ideas flow. We started at a pastry shop, went into a couple antique stores, and got a few shots outside. Our biggest challenge was keeping that thumb out of his mouth! I thought it was pretty cute anyway, don’t you think? :)

The donuts were lookin’ pretty good…..jpg)
And how could you resist this face?.jpg)
Over at the antique store, we totally scored by finding this vintage Brownie camera!
And this cool EXA one too! Hm, maybe Ethan will be following in his mama’s footsteps!

I love his gazes – makes me wonder what he’s pondering

All tuckered out!
Happy Birthday Ethan!
Thanks again Regina – I had such a great time with you two! Looking forward to getting together again! :)
