When I met Jenn for the first time last fall to talk about photographing her wedding, I just *knew* they were going to be a fun couple. She is cute, spunky, and not afraid to be goofy. He is sweet, handsome, and absolutely adores her. We met downtown Grand Rapids last week for their engagement session on a cool, bright & windy afternoon… and had a total blast!
As the afternoon warmed up, we took a quick break to put our sweaters in our cars and put change in our parking meters. When Jenn came back with THIS… I thought I’d died and gone to photographer heaven! She found this vintage Minolta camera online, and it works! See, Jenn’s a photography student, and totally shares my love for this stuff. She took a few photographs at the same time I was shooting images of her. (I can’t wait to see them!!)

As we were wrapping up our session and chatting, Jenn mentioned that she and Paul had each just gotten an iTouch, and how funny it is that they’ll sit in the same room, both online, and they’ll be texting or chatting with each other. I laughed out loud, I can totally relate! I’ll be busy working on something, completely engrossed in my computer screen, when a little “i love you” message will pop up from my hubby. It’s the little moments in life, sweet little things that make us US.
Jenn & Paul had a whole fun day planned – After our session, they were headed to get tattoos together! This is what she’s getting – love it!
Thanks for a super fun afternoon! I had a blast with you two – can’t wait for the wedding!
