Alisha + Gene Paul { married! }

Alisha and Gene Paul were married on the most perfect of June days.  The sky was clear, the air was warm, the gardens were in bloom. Friends and family gathered together to show support and love for this wonderful couple as they joined their hearts and lives.  Their family is tight-knit, and the air was full of laughter, smiles, hugs and well wishes. They held their wedding ceremony and reception at Spring Grove Park, where Alisha’s family has gathered for years. It was the perfect location to add yet another wonderful memory – a touching ceremony under the trellis, and a fun barbecue picnic dinner in the gorgeous log cabin.

The girls: totally awesome!  Do you recognize Alisha’s sisters?  They’re the lovely and talented ladies of Spark Creative!  I felt beyond honored to be asked to photograph the wedding of a photography family!  I love these girls, so fun! :)

I love outdoor ceremonies, and on a day like this, it couldn’t have been more appropriate!

After the yummy barbecue, they made an exit through bubbles and smiling guests to the car, which took them to a limo…. which took us to the beach!

We got there *just* in time for the sunset!

Have I mentioned how much I love their bridal party? They climbed [rather dangerous looking] rocks for me.  Worth it? I think so! ;)
