Krista + Scott { married! }

Krista and Scott were married on June 26, 2009 at the incredibly gorgeous St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti, with an elegant reception at The Henry Ford’s Lovett Hall in Dearborn. They planned a beautiful, classic, traditional wedding with a big, fun, family and love-filled reception.  Krista was such a timeless, elegant bride!  While Jamie was with the guys at the Marriott getting ready, the ladies started their day at Bana Salon in Ann Arbor for hair appointments, and then moved to the Queen’s Residence in Ypsilanti to finish getting ready. Makeup artist Marin Dixon (marin.dixon@gmail.com) joined us there, and did a fabulous job with Krista’s look. She looked amazing!

St. John the Baptist’s is breathtakingly gorgeous.  The pillars, the walls, the stained glass, the ceiling, the artwork, the floor… I couldn’t get enough of it!

Have I mentioned I love this place?  Airplanes and Trains!  Yeah!!

After running around inside the museum, we headed outside in the gorgeous sunshine  :)

I think this is my favorite portrait of the day, they just look so relaxed and happy together  :)

The reception ballroom looked phenomenal!  Lovett Hall is beautiful already, but we had amazing light coming in, and Krista and Scott’s perfect details and decor.  This is their seating chart!  I think I’m in love  :)

They danced all alone in their decorated ballroom before any of the guests came up, it was SO romantic! ::swoon!::

… and then danced again surrounded by their friends and family. Beautiful!

Not to play down Scott and Krista’s dance… but Krista’s dance with her dad was AWESOME!  They did a traditional polka, and totally rocked it.  They were on all corners of the dance floor, spinning and laughing. I loved every second of it!  Fabulously fun Polka music by Dave Slivinski Band.
