Erin + Evan { married! }

A perfect park, babbling creek, log cabin lodge… and the sweetest of details.  I loved every little bit of Erin and Evan’s wedding, held at Fallasburg Park in Lowell, Michigan. It rained that morning giving everything around us a dewy glow and then the sun came out and bathed us in warm, heavy summer air. They were married outside by the creek under the trees with their closest family and friends in attendance. It couldn’t have been more sweet and perfect.

Omigoodness the flowers… all different shades of pink with jewels, pearls and black feathers!  Hello, beautiful!  Thank you, Ludemas for the exquisite eye candy! :)

I loved their programs – they were all slightly different, handmade, with different papers and charms holding the pages together.

They had the most beautiful, simple, true vows I think I’ve ever heard:

From this day forward, I make a promise, whatever happens, you shall not walk alone. I’ll stand by your side, and sleep in your arms, I’ll be the joy in your heart, and the food for your soul. I promise to always remember that laughter is life’s sweetest creation, and I will never stop laughing with you. May you forever feel deeply loved, through our brightest days and our darkest nights. I promise to celebrate the joy of everyday life with you. I promise to be the most dependable person in your life, to honor you, fight for you, and to always wonder how I can love you more than I already do. May God bless us, with a great light, around our hearts, and around our home. May the world see how beautiful you are as I see how beautiful you are. I give you my heart today, and with my heart, I promise to walk by your side every step of the way.

Reception details were so delish!  Shades of soft and bright pinks punctuated with black and white, a candy buffet, and pinwheels as place cards! Love!

Adorable cupcakes by Lil’ Miss Cupcake – these were all different too!  So cute!!

Smooth Sound Entertainment provided the soundtrack for the evening – they are fabulous!
