Janelle + Shaun { engaged! }

When Janelle and I were going over her wedding plans (which are totally awesome, by the way), we started chatting about their engagement session and where they would like it to be.  When she said she wanted it in their current residence of Chicago, my heart lept up into my throat and I’m sure it resulted in a little squeal of delight and an ear-to-ear smile.  :)  I love that city!

I invited my friend, recent bride, and aspiring photographer, Wendy to come along with me.  We arrived on a Monday afternoon, picked up Janelle and Shaun right on Michigan Avenue, and headed out to the first of many locations.  We had an awesome itinerary of cool places they wanted to go. We got to see the city from a whole new perspective. Love!

Stopping traffic!  We got a few honks, but didn’t get hit or arrested. Win!

I love these – we climbed up on the bridges right over the Chicago River.  Sweet!
