Holly + Casey { engaged! }

I met Holly and Casey at April & Jason’s wedding this spring – Holly was in the wedding, and I sat at Casey’s table at dinner.  I chatted with Casey a little between bites, and I noticed he had a little glimmer in his eye when he talked about Holly.  And I definitely noticed the way his face lit up when she came over and threw her arms around him to say hello. It’s love!  They weren’t engaged yet at the time, but it was obvious that it would be soon.  I was so happy when I heard from Holly, they had gotten engaged and wanted to book an engagement session.  I’m so excited for them, I can tell they’re going to have such a happy life  :)

We met downtown Grand Rapids on a chilly fall afternoon.  We walked along the streets, chatting as we went… This is one of the very first pictures we took – I love when random citypeeps surprise me   :)

After fun in the city, we scooted over to a park for a different feel.  I love this series!  The colors, the tone… them!

ashley folkema - Just lovely! What a cute couple. :)

JEFF - I love the shot with Holly standing on the fire hose connection!

Cathy (and David) - I love the colors of the leaves in these! Everytime that I wish I lived in Southern California with their balmy weather and year round sun, I remember how much I would miss the autumn leaves. Definitely the best time of year for e-sessions! And I love the shots in the pine trees as well! :)
