Hello and welcome to the K. Holly Photography Blog! I'm so glad you're here! ((hugs!)) I'm Kristen Holly Carlson, a Wedding & Lifestyle Photographer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Courtney + Rob { married! }

Courtney and Rob were married on November 7th at the Amway Grand Plaza downtown Grand Rapids. They held their ceremony in the beautiful Gerald Ford Ballroom, with an elegant reception following in the Pantlind Ballroom. The ladies started their day with a light lunch and mimosas at Splurge Salon, and finished getting ready in an Amway suite. It was a really fun wedding – Courtney and Rob’s personalities fit together so perfectly, and their friends and family are wonderful to be around. Everyone was smiling and laughing the entire day. Perfect!

Makeup artist Christina Perez had all the girls looking amazing!

Courtney was a beautiful bride!

And Rob made one handsome groom!

While the ladies finished up getting ready, I took the guys out for some group shots. They are FUNNY!! I was doubled over laughing the entire way through these – what an awesome group! Love you guys!!

Their reception was beautiful, and a total blast – smiles, tears, laughter, hugs. Once the music started playing, everyone was out dancing and having a great time!

At the end of the night, I had everyone look up for a big group shot – awesome!

Katie - i LOVE these and all your other ones!! How did they do their ribbon thing? I like that idea and cant find it anywhere!

Genevieve McKeiver - Oh my!!! I absolutely LOVE the one of the bride with her veil outside the Civic Auditorium (the 1st one). WOW!!

Carley Morrison - What amazing pictures! It is so cool that you got everyone at the reception to look up for a pic! All the pictures are stunning.

Sarah Sleeman - What an incredible venue! The Ford Ballroom reminds me of delicate Wedgewood china. I just love the shot of the bridal party on the balcony. This wedding is one of my favourites that you’ve shot so far Kristen :-)
