July 24 2010, Bay Pointe Inn on Gun Lake in Shelbyville, Michigan. Amaaaaazing day!!! So amazing, I absolutely MUST split it into two posts. First up, the getting ready, First Look, and pre-ceremony photoshoot time! We started at the Inn with the girls and guys getting ready. Girls were busy with hair and makeup while the guys were out enjoying the morning on the boat. (More on the boat in the next post… lots more. Prepare yourself for the awesomeness! We were finally able to work with the fabulous videographers of Epic Motion, I’ll show you their video as well!) But first, back to part one, back to getting ready :) Amanda’s hair was done by Monica Kornoelje, makeup by Hanna Wagner. Gorgeous flowers were by Gail Vander Laan. Amanda’s gown was so amazing on her, I was loving her gorgeous cage veil, and the girls looked adorable in their little dresses! And the colors – red and turquoise, perfect for the lakeside setting!

Aren’t they a gorgeous couple? Love them!!

I have a LOT of favorites from the day, but this one is right up there. I adore this!

As much as I love Bay Pointe itself, we decided to go off-site to shake things up a little. This is all shot on private property, with the owner’s blessing.

Amanda, you are gorgeous! Absolutely stunning!

Well hello there, fabulous bridal party!

Remember when I said I had lots of favorites? This next set makes me swoon! I loved that while I was taking this one:

Jamie was capturing this:

:: swoon! ::

I brought along a vintage frame, which I painted turquoise the night before just for them :) Whee!

And what are the chances we’d stumble across a vintage car that is also their wedding colors? Fabulous!

Now back to that gorgeous, gorgeous Gun Lake…

Tooooo cute! Keep an eye on the blog, part two is coming! Their ceremony, lovely aqua and red reception details, a boatride, dancing… and the bride and groom go wakeboarding!!! Amazingness. More soon!
